Responsible manufacturing

Compliance lies at the core of our corporate strategy and organizational framework. Our teams, both in France and in sourcing countries, work closely with suppliers to support their continuous improvement efforts.

Compliance audits commissioned by the Eram Group are conducted by independent third-party firms. In addition, we organize follow-up visits, awareness workshops, and webinars covering social and environmental issues, with the objective of strengthening our suppliers’ capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Our objectives

| Ensure that 100% of our Tier 1 manufacturers and our strategic Tier 2 manufacturers are audited in accordance with the ICS Social Compliance Framework

| Assess the environmental practices of 100% of our strategic manufacturers.

| Assist our strategic manufacturers in the collection and reporting of their energy data.

Parade maintains long-standing relationships with its suppliers, based on partnerships that have been built and strengthened over several decades.

The Eram Group is a member of the ICS (Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability)

This multi-sector initiative comprising 70 companies aims to improve working conditions in global supply chains. It helps member companies work together using shared tools, to pool audits and to share knowledge and best practices.

The Eram Group is committed to supporting more responsible leather manufacturing worldwide

The Eram Group is a member of the Leather Working Group (LWG). This international organisation brings together different players in the leather industry. Its aim is to assess the environmental and social performance of companies in the sector by setting up an audit protocol. 

By 2026:

• 100% of Parade’s partner tanneries are LWG-certified.
• 100% of Parade leather is traceable back to the country of origin where the livestock was raised.

One obsession: maintaining French expertise

Our industrial hub, located in Montjean-sur-Loire, uses two distinct manufacturing processes: injection molding and direct-attach construction. This center of excellence brings together expertise in design, manufacturing, knowledge transfer, and innovation in the field of the circular economy.

Projects such as repair and refurbishment are currently being developed and tested within the Eram Group’s consumer brands and may, in the future, be extended to other Group brands, including Parade.

In 2023, our industrial hub was awarded the “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (EPV – Living Heritage Company) label. This distinction recognizes French companies that combine tradition, innovation, and excellence in their craftsmanship and products.

One commitment: passing on our expertise

In 2014, the Eram Group founded the Shoe School, a complete training course in all shoe trades. The course is open to jobseekers* and students receive a diploma on graduation.

Each person who joins the course is supported throughout their apprenticeship and trained by experienced staff. Four new apprentices joined our training programme in 2022 and two in 2023.

Heritage and Innovation

As part of the France Relance recovery plan, a strategic project shaping the future of our Industrial Hub has been selected for support. The program contributes to the robotization of an assembly module, a major milestone in enhancing the modernization and competitiveness of our manufacturing operations.

This commitment to innovation reinforces our capacity to produce in France in a sustainable, agile, and competitive manner.
