PRODUCT EXTRAS

N-Fuze 2, high-top, standard-compliant, safety shoes for welders

As a welding professional, you need special protection for your feet! PARADE has designed the N-Fuze 2 for you. These S3 high-top safety shoes have been specially designed for working in complete safety, even protecting against the risk of small splashes of molten metal and sparks.

 With WG rating, the N-Fuse 2 safety shoes are manufactured in compliance with the EN ISO 20349-2: 2017 welding standard, with:

    • overlapping assembly of the shoe components to prevent small splashes of molten metal from sticking to the upper;

    • a fastening system with a single-sided Velcro fastener to hold the shoe in place and enable you to remove it rapidly in the event something accidentally gets inside;

    • leather material and seams in flame-retardant para-aramid thread;

    • a wide, large flap on the upper for better protection;

    • a grip-tab on the side of the flap, so that the shoe can be removed quickly, even when wearing gloves

Equipped with a nitrile rubber sole with SRC, HRO, and CI-HI rating, the N-Fuze 2 ankle boots are designed to withstand extreme contact temperatures, provide insulation against cold and heat and are slip-resistant.

The N-Fuze 2 shoes also meet the basic S3-standard requirements: crush and impact resistance thanks to the fabric anti-puncture insert and composite toe-cap, antistatic properties, water-resistant upper and hydrocarbon-resistant sole.

These robust, high-performance safety shoes for welders are also extremely comfortable. They incorporate the PARADE VPS SYSTEM (Suspended Arch Support System), which supports the natural arch of the foot, and the FLEX SYSTEM, which provides greater flexibility when walking and grip on uneven ground thanks to the exclusive design of its sole. The high-cut upper and collar have padding right down to the ankle for additional protection and support. Finally, the N-Fuze 2 shoes feature an elasticated support for the forefoot and a resilient insole.

VPS (suspended arch support)

The shoe's ergonomic shape maintains the natural arch of the foot, following the arch's curve. This support inside the sole itself provides unrivalled comfort, particularly in the case of small or shuffling steps and extended periods of standing still.

Flex system

FLEX SYSTEM technology is suitable for construction work and uneven surfaces. The exclusive design of the sole with its grooves reduces the pressure areas on the sole, providing flexibility and comfort when walking. The shoe moves with the foot and the horizontal and notched grooves under the metatarsal bones, where the foot naturally bends, naturally expel soil as the foot moves forward. You can find our FLEX SYSTEM technology in all our shoes with our NEBRASKA and NEVADA soles.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

At Parade, we carry out a life cycle analysis to measure the environmental impact of each of our models: from the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, use, logistics, right through to the end of the product's life. Our environmental impact calculators, developed in-house using ADEME's EMPREINTE® database, have been certified by AFNOR for textiles and validated by the Eco-design Cluster* for footwear.

*The Eco-design cluster is the national center for eco-design and life-cycle performance. Its expertise is recognized nationally and internationally by ADEME, the French Ministry of the Environment, AFNOR, ISO and the UN-environment.
