The Elight unisex safety shoes have been designed to protect professionals against electric shocks caused by alternating currents (AC) of up to 1,000 volts and direct current (DC) of up to 1,500 volts, in dry environments.
Combining 3 insulating features (injected sole, anti-puncture insert and insulating insole), Elight safety shoes are particularly aimed at people who work on electric cars, electric car batteries, on underground network detection sites or in the field of electrical maintenance.
Elight high-top safety shoes also provide protection and comfort in a wide variety of environments, thanks to several key features:
• a mid-cut upper that ensures ankle stability;
• a water-resistant lather upper
• a composite toe-cap;
• reinforcement on the front of the shoe;
• a padded collar and tongue;
• a stitched gusset on the tongue to prevent sand or earth getting in the shoe;
• a breathable 3D-mesh lining;
• reflective laces.
To optimise your comfort when walking, the Elight shoes incorporate with 3 exclusive PARADE technologies: the VPS SYSTEM (Suspended Arch Support), BE FLEX 2.0 (greater flexibility and flexion of the foot when walking) and DRS 2 (reinforced heel cushioning).

The shoe's ergonomic shape maintains the natural arch of the foot, following the arch's curve. This support inside the sole itself provides unrivalled comfort, particularly in the case of small or shuffling steps and extended periods of standing still.

The BE FLEX 2.0 technology is suitable for jobs requiring flexibility and increased walking comfort, such as logistics. The lateral return of the sole at the front of the foot is reduced to facilitate foot flexion. In addition, the sole has an exclusive design with 3 transverse grooves for optimal rolling and flexibility of the forefoot. Our BE FLEX 2.0 technology can be found on our RACING models.

Our DRS technology is in the heel and acts as a shock absorber. DRS is a cavity under the heel, in the shape of a semi-circular indent. When the heel is in contact with the terrain, this cavity falls inwards and moves with the heel to adapt to the terrain, preceding the foot’s roll and forward movement.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
At Parade, we carry out a life cycle analysis to measure the environmental impact of each of our models: from the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, use, logistics, right through to the end of the product's life. Our environmental impact calculators, developed in-house using ADEME's EMPREINTE® database, have been certified by AFNOR for textiles and validated by the Eco-design Cluster* for footwear.
*The Eco-design cluster is the national center for eco-design and life-cycle performance. Its expertise is recognized nationally and internationally by ADEME, the French Ministry of the Environment, AFNOR, ISO and the UN-environment.
