PRODUCT EXTRAS

Electa, low-top unisex, breathable, insulating safety shoes

Electa low-top safety shoes have been specially designed for people who work in dry environments with a risk of exposure to electric shocks. For example, people who work on electric cars, electric car batteries, work-sites involving the detection of buried networks or electrical maintenance.

They guarantee protection against electric shocks caused by alternating currents (AC) of up to 1,000 volts and direct current (DC) of up to 1,500 volts, in dry environments. To reduce the risk of electrical conduction, Electa safety shoes incorporate:

    • an injected, insulating PU sole;

    • a fabric anti-puncture insert;

    • an insulating insole.

With their grippy lug sole, PU reinforcement and composite toe-cap, Electa safety shoes are also slip-, impact- and hydrocarbon-resistant, and insulated against heat and cold.

In terms of comfort, Electa shoes have a breathable 3D-mesh lining and fabric upper, a padded tongue and collar and feature 3 innovative PARADE technologies:

    • the VPS SYSTEM (Suspended Arch Support), which supports the natural arch of the foot;

    • the DRS 2 (Delete Resonance System) technology, which improves shock absorption in the heel;

    • the BE FLEX 2.0 technology, which offers greater suppleness and flexibility when walking.

VPS (suspended arch support)

The shoe's ergonomic shape maintains the natural arch of the foot, following the arch's curve. This support inside the sole itself provides unrivalled comfort, particularly in the case of small or shuffling steps and extended periods of standing still.

BE FLEX 2.0

The BE FLEX 2.0 technology is suitable for jobs requiring flexibility and increased walking comfort, such as logistics. The lateral return of the sole at the front of the foot is reduced to facilitate foot flexion. In addition, the sole has an exclusive design with 3 transverse grooves for optimal rolling and flexibility of the forefoot. Our BE FLEX 2.0 technology can be found on our RACING models.

Delete Resonance System (DRS)

Our DRS technology is in the heel and acts as a shock absorber. DRS is a cavity under the heel, in the shape of a semi-circular indent. When the heel is in contact with the terrain, this cavity falls inwards and moves with the heel to adapt to the terrain, preceding the foot’s roll and forward movement.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

At Parade, we carry out a life cycle analysis to measure the environmental impact of each of our models: from the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, use, logistics, right through to the end of the product's life. Our environmental impact calculators, developed in-house using ADEME's EMPREINTE® database, have been certified by AFNOR for textiles and validated by the Eco-design Cluster* for footwear.

*The Eco-design cluster is the national center for eco-design and life-cycle performance. Its expertise is recognized nationally and internationally by ADEME, the French Ministry of the Environment, AFNOR, ISO and the UN-environment.
