PRODUCT EXTRAS

Sturdiness, comfort and good looks guaranteed with Nikola safety shoes

The Nikola safety shoes are specially designed for the construction industry. These low safety shoes feature large notches and the FLEX SYSTEM to cope with rough terrain. They also meet the requirements of EN ISO 20345: 2011 S3 SRC, guaranteeing good grip on all types of surface. CI HI, their soles are insulated against heat and cold. The shoes are fitted with a non-metallic anti-puncture insert and a composite toe giving them non-magnetic properties.

Nikola has been designed for maximum robustness: the S3 shoe is made from 7-hour water-resistant pull-up leather and reinforced with double and triple top-stitching. Its eyelets are stitched for greater resistance to tearing. Its solid loops and hooks can withstand loads of over 40 kg.

Finally, Parade has not forgotten your comfort:

  • Nikola is designed with the VPS SYSTEM which maintains the natural arch of the foot;
  • has a thick, super-soft collar and tongue;
  • has a gusseted tongue to keep out dirt and sand.

VPS (suspended arch support)

The shoe's ergonomic shape maintains the natural arch of the foot, following the arch's curve. This support inside the sole itself provides unrivalled comfort, particularly in the case of small or shuffling steps and extended periods of standing still.

Flex system

FLEX SYSTEM technology is suitable for construction work and uneven surfaces. The exclusive design of the sole with its grooves reduces the pressure areas on the sole, providing flexibility and comfort when walking. The shoe moves with the foot and the horizontal and notched grooves under the metatarsal bones, where the foot naturally bends, naturally expel soil as the foot moves forward. You can find our FLEX SYSTEM technology in all our shoes with our NEBRASKA and NEVADA soles.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

At Parade, we carry out a life cycle analysis to measure the environmental impact of each of our models: from the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, use, logistics, right through to the end of the product's life. Our environmental impact calculators, developed in-house using ADEME's EMPREINTE® database, have been certified by AFNOR for textiles and validated by the Eco-design Cluster* for footwear.

*The Eco-design cluster is the national center for eco-design and life-cycle performance. Its expertise is recognized nationally and internationally by ADEME, the French Ministry of the Environment, AFNOR, ISO and the UN-environment.
