PRODUCT EXTRAS

Rfrost fur-lined safety shoe: smart and effective

Sturdiness, comfort and warmth for Rfrost, the special winter shoe in the Racing range. Rfrost unisex safety boots are fully lined with cosy imitation fur and have a removable thick felt insole.

On the outside, they have a smart yet sophisticated design, with smooth plain leather uppers, accented by contrasting triple top-stitching and a reflective bias.

Designed to meet the safety, performance and comfort needs of professionals in a wide range of sectors, Rfrost safety shoes comply with a number of standards: S3S SR FO CI HI. They are ESD and therefore compatible with ATEX environments. The Rfrosts feature:

  • innovative VPS SYSTEM (suspended arch support), DRS 2 (reinforced heel cushioning) and BE-FLEX 2.0 (more flexible forefoot roll) technologies;
  • a composite toe cap;
  • a fabric anti-puncture insert;
  • a soft, padded high collar;
  • a gusseted tongue to limit the intrusion of dirt, sand or small stones.

The Rfrost shoe is available without imitation fur lining: check out Rodger!

VPS (suspended arch support)

The shoe's ergonomic shape maintains the natural arch of the foot, following the arch's curve. This support inside the sole itself provides unrivalled comfort, particularly in the case of small or shuffling steps and extended periods of standing still.

BE FLEX 2.0

The BE FLEX 2.0 technology is suitable for jobs requiring flexibility and increased walking comfort, such as logistics. The lateral return of the sole at the front of the foot is reduced to facilitate foot flexion. In addition, the sole has an exclusive design with 3 transverse grooves for optimal rolling and flexibility of the forefoot. Our BE FLEX 2.0 technology can be found on our RACING models.

Delete Resonance System (DRS)

Our DRS technology is in the heel and acts as a shock absorber. DRS is a cavity under the heel, in the shape of a semi-circular indent. When the heel is in contact with the terrain, this cavity falls inwards and moves with the heel to adapt to the terrain, preceding the foot’s roll and forward movement.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

At Parade, we carry out a life cycle analysis to measure the environmental impact of each of our models: from the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, use, logistics, right through to the end of the product's life. Our environmental impact calculators, developed in-house using ADEME's EMPREINTE® database, have been certified by AFNOR for textiles and validated by the Eco-design Cluster* for footwear.

*The Eco-design cluster is the national center for eco-design and life-cycle performance. Its expertise is recognized nationally and internationally by ADEME, the French Ministry of the Environment, AFNOR, ISO and the UN-environment.
